Welcome to the Little Italy Arkansas Heritage Society and Museum

Due to COVID-19 and for the safety our visitors and volunteers, the museum is closed temporarily. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back for updates to see when we will re-open.
The Little Italy Arkansas Heritage Society was founded in 2018 with the mission to preserve the history of Little Italy, Arkansas, celebrate its Italian-American influences, and to educate the public about the historic attributes of this community.
As Central Arkansas’s only Italian enclave, Little Italy is unique in its role in Arkansas history. The Little Italy Arkansas Heritage Society wishes to emphasize this exceptional story by highlighting the pioneering spirit of the community’s founding families, their Catholic faith, and the production of wine which was the focal point of the area’s economic activity for many years.
To find out more concerning Little Italy’s incredible story, visit the entry for Little Italy at the Arkansas Online Encyclopedia. You may also find out more about the roots of the Italian’s Catholic faith in Little Italy by visiting the St. Francis of Assisi Parish website.
We'd love to share our unique Italian-American story with you!
Our museum is just getting started and so please come back to this page frequently for updates to the hours of operation.
